India’s External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar arrived in Abu Dhabi on Saturday for a crucial two-day visit aimed at strengthening the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between India and the United Arab Emirates.
During the visit, Jaishankar is expected to hold high-level meetings with UAE leadership, focusing on expanding cooperation in trade, energy, technology, and regional security. The visit comes at a time of evolving geopolitical dynamics, particularly in West Asia, where stability and energy security remain key concerns.
This marks the second leg of his diplomatic tour after engagements in Mauritius, where he attended the Indian Ocean Conference and held discussions on strengthening bilateral ties. His visit reflects India’s continued push to build reliable global partnerships and reinforce its presence in the Global South.
